Andor is an American television series created by Tony Gilroy for Disney+. It is the fourth live-action adaptation of the Star Wars franchise and serves as a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The story centers on Cassian Andor and takes place five years before the events of the original film, during the formation of the Rebel Alliance.

The series thematically overlaps with the animated series Star Wars Rebels (2014–2018), as both cover a similar time period. This is particularly noticeable in the plot surrounding Mon Mothma, a key figure in the Rebel movement, as well as the historical events taking place on Ghorman.

Diego Luna, who played Cassian Andor in the prequel film, is one of the producers of the television series and returns to portray his character. The project also stars Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Chuk Sibtain, James McArdle, Rupert Vansittart, Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw, Alex Ferns, Gary Beadle, Genevieve O'Reilly, Denise Gough, Faye Marsay, Varada Setu, and others. Lucasfilm announced the series in November 2018, confirming Luna's involvement and announcing Stephen Schiff as showrunner. However, in April 2020, Tony Gilroy, who previously worked on additional material for Rogue One, assumed a key role in the project's development. Filming began in November 2020 and concluded in September 2021.

The first three episodes premiered on September 21, 2022. The first season consisted of 12 episodes, the finale of which aired on November 23 of that year. The program received rave reviews from critics and became one of the most successful television projects of 2022.

Production for the second season began on November 21, 2022, and concluded in August 2023. This season covers four years of Cassian Andor's life and concludes the timeline of Rogue One.
