Plot

A brief description of the events of the series

Howard Silk, an ordinary employee of the bureaucratic structure, leads a quiet, unremarkable existence. However, his life changes dramatically after a tragic accident: his wife finds herself in a comatose state. Howard soon learns that the organization he works for performs the key function of protecting a secret portal connecting two parallel worlds.

The origins of this unusual separation of worlds date back to 1987, when, as a result of a scientific experiment conducted by a group of researchers from East Germany, the universe split into two independent realities. These realities, designated "Alpha" and "Prime," strictly control their own boundaries. The tasks of the institution where Howard serves are to monitor and regulate the interaction between these two worlds.

While Howard from our reality was busy with purely clerical work, his ambitious and determined counterpart from an alternate world successfully created an extensive spy network. Now Howard faces a difficult task: to stop a professional killer who has already caused significant damage to his world and is now targeting ours.
