Plot

Brief Description of Events of the Series

The main character of the TV series "How I Met Your Mother", Ted Mosby, in 2030, narrates a story addressed to his own children, in order to tell the story of how he met their mother. In the process, he also shares memories of the events of his youth, including a series of romantic breakups and new acquaintances. However, along with the dynamic events of his life, the children become witnesses to the tragic side of the story: the last moments of their mother, Tracy, who passed away due to an incurable disease, leaving Ted a widower and a single parent.

The climax of the story returns the viewer to Ted's acquaintance with Tracy, completing the main plot. However, in an unexpected ending, the children realize that their father's true feelings for many years were directed towards another woman - Robin. Ted first met this heroine at the beginning of the story, but their relationship ended due to circumstances. Robin subsequently married another man, but retained sincere affection for Ted. In the final chord of the series, the children express their approval of their father's feelings, stating that they are happy about the possible reunion of Ted and Robin, thus opening the way for a new chapter in the life of the main character.
