Plot

A brief description of the events of the series

Two high school seniors from different social classes discover a mutual attraction, but do not understand how to deal with it.

Marianne, who grew up in a wealthy but dysfunctional family, is alienated from her peers because of her difficult character and arrogance. Connell, the son of an ordinary woman who works as a cleaner in Marianne's house, is successful in his studies, plays football and is popular at school. However, he is ashamed to admit to his friends about his relationship with Marianne, who has been ostracized.

The influence of society, internal doubts and painful childhood experiences can cost this young couple dearly, up to the point of losing their love. After graduating from school, their life paths sometimes diverge, sometimes converge again. What prevents them from being together and why can't they end their relationship completely?
