Plot

A brief description of the events of the series

"Slow Horses" tells the story of a group of failed spies, removed from serious matters and packed into a team whose existence is reduced to routine and insignificant tasks under the leadership of a grumpy and ruthless boss. Their everyday life goes on as usual, until the kidnapping of a Muslim stand-up comedian becomes an opportunity for these decommissioned agents to prove their worth and try to rise from the very bottom of the MI5 hierarchy.

This series definitely does not fit into the framework of a traditional spy detective - rather, it is a post-ironic interpretation of it. Here, elements of spy intrigue, unexpected plot twists and unique British humor are skillfully intertwined, forming a fresh look at the familiar genre.
