The American series "The Office", produced in the format of a mockumentary show, became a brilliant example of adapting a British original into an independent and distinctive phenomenon. Carell's departure after the seventh season posed a serious challenge for the entire team. Although the eighth season was criticized for its weaker plot, the final, ninth season restored the show to its former glory. The finale attracted nearly six million viewers and concluded the story with an emotional and memorable scene.

Plot

Brief Description of Series Events

The series "The Office" tells about the daily life of employees of a company specializing in the sale of paper. Every working day in this organization is filled with comical and sometimes unusual situations, largely due to the charismatic and unpredictable boss.

Michael Scott, the head of the company, strives to be not only a strict boss, but also a close friend for his subordinates. However, combining these roles is given to him with great difficulty. Despite his oddities, the employees deeply value their boss and try to spare his vulnerability.

Among his colleagues, the funny guy Jim stands out, known for his pranks, especially towards the boring and pedantic Dwight. In turn, Pam, the office secretary, often turns out to be the voice of reason for Michael and the others.

Starting with the seventh season, the attention increasingly switches from the office to the individual destinies of the characters outside of it, revealing new sides of their lives. At the end of the story, the characters take a radical step, going to build a new life on the farm.
